Are you fond of photography? Why not make it an additional source of income and earn while you enjoy your hobby? However, there are many famous photographers today, and the competition is very tough. So how can you keep up with these already well-known photographers?
The answer? You need to have a good marketing plan.
A marketing plan outlines your strategies to advertise, promote, and sell your service or products. Following this plan is important to reach your goals and continuously improve your marketing skills.
So, how to make a successful photography marketing plan?
If you want to start a business, one of the first things you’ll need to do is come up with a name and a logo. Logos are the kings of marketing because they are crucial for brand awareness.
Since you are a photographer, you probably have some editing skills, but not enough to create a memorable and original logo that’s going to encapsulate what your brand is about. You can start without it, of course, but you want to stand out and look professional. So, what do you do?
The ideal solution is to work with an agency or hire a freelance designer. However, if photography has been merely a hobby of yours and you’ve just decided to look for clients, you probably won’t have the budget for it. Instead, you can use logo makers!
Let’s dive into the list of the best online logo makers.
We’ve got some exciting news that we’d like to share with you.
Firstly, we’ve added a new feature to our Photo Cropper app. Now, it is possible for you to choose one of three popular aspect ratios: 1:1, 16:9, 4:3. Aspect ratio is the ratio of width to height of an image. If you select one of these three options, the proportions of the cropping area will be locked. For example, with 1:1 aspect ratio the width is equal to the height. If you choose this aspect ratio and make cropping area wider, its height will be equally enlarged. Our app has the fourth option – “X:Y”. It allows you to choose any ratio of width to height as there won’t be any locked proportions. The buttons with the aspect ratios can be found at the top of the Crop Photo app.
Secondly, there is a new online JPEG compressor. We also have a tool to compress GIF and a tool to compress PNG. If you want your images to occupy less space on your computer or server, you can compress them. This process allows you to make your images smaller in size, but look just as good as the high-quality originals. With our new tool you can compress your photos right in your browser – you won’t need to install or download anything. It is easy to use, too. Just open the app, upload your images, click on “Compress Images” and the compressing process will start. In a matter of minutes – or even less, depending on how large your batch is – you will be able to download a zip-archive with compressed copies.
Lastly, you can process more photos with our web-based apps. This goes for all of our online tools. Previously, you could upload around 300 images, but now it is possible to process a batch of up to 2000 photos in one go! Please note, that this update is available if you purchased one of our three editions. The free version allows you to upload only up to 10 photos at a time.
We would like to tell you about a few updates that Watermarkly has.
First of all, it is now possible to set different levels of opacity for your watermark on each photo in one batch. This feature can be found in the Preview section. Once you’ve created and customized your watermark, click on “Watermark Images.” This will take you to the Output Settings, where you will see the “Preview” button. Click on it. In the Preview section, you can look through all the images in the batch and adjust the size, the opacity, and the location of your watermark on each of them. To change the opacity of your watermark, drag the opacity slider until you get the desired result. Watermarks on other photos won’t be affected.
Aside from our watermarking app for PDF and photos, Watermarkly, we also offer two apps to crop photo online and resize image. These are Crop Photo and Resize Image apps that you can find in “Other Photo Tools.” If you used either of these apps before, you may know that they have a limitation: you can only upload a batch of up to 50 photos in one go. Now, if you purchase an upgrade, there is no need to worry about that anymore. You can watermark, crop, and change the size of 300 images at once. Please note that this is only possible in Google Chrome, Edge and Opera. Unfortunately, other browsers do not provide the necessary capabilities to work with a big number of photos.
Watermarkly’s app to watermark photos is available in major languages such as Spanish, German, Russian, and so on. We are happy to announce that we’ve added Portuguese to this list. Both our app and our website are now available in Portuguese.
Last, but not least, we’ve fixed a few bugs in our app to provide you with a more efficient and enjoyable experience.
Hello! Watermarkly has three new features, and we’d like to tell you more about them.
Firstly, now your watermark can stick to the corners of your image as well as to its center. This feature will help you align your watermarks more precisely with corners, edges or the center of your photo. When you move your watermark closer to the center, for instance, you will see a purple dashed line. This means that you’ve reached the mid-point of the width. Another dashed line will appear when you reach the mid-point of the height. Now, you’ve placed your free watermark right in the center! What’s more, if you want to add more than one watermark – logo or text – you can align one watermark with another with higher precision than before.
What we are very excited to present to you is the online synchronization of watermark templates. This feature allows you to get access your synchronized watermark templates across all your devices. Once you apply a watermark to your image, it is going to be added into the list of the recently used templates, which are also automatically synchronized. Your templates will be uploaded to the cloud, so you can use them even if you switch devices. Synchronized templates are marked with a cloud icon.
It is important to note that only your templates will be synchronized. Your photos are never stored on our servers, and they never will be. If you click on the cloud icon, you can also download the template onto your computer as a file and send it to a friend or a colleague. Synchronized templates are available for free for 2 years for all the current and new clients.
600 new fonts have been added to our diverse library. We’ve unified the list of fonts in Watermarkly and its desktop version. As a result, each app has access to the same collection of 1000 fonts. You are sure to find exactly what you need.
All the functions are available for free for all of our current and new clients. Synchronization is free for 2 years after purchase.
